Terribly limited version for iPad

It’s mind boggling that while the iPad have been in use for 23 years, FB, a company with seemingly unlimited resources, cannot create an app for the iPad that even has a fraction of the features that their web and mobile apps do. Let’s face it, most people are using FB these days for the Marketplace feature yet in the iPad app you can’t save searches, filter search results, or even sort search results. This all results in avoiding the app for the website version - which also has it’s problems (though not nearly as many as the iPad app). There is no ability to create a custom menu, or use a dark mode. Pictures in the iPad app are horribly cropped and need to be made full screen and then pinched out in order to even see the entire picture. This is seriously some HTML level editing needed in order to make it usable. Yet, since it has been years without a decent version of the app, FB sends the message clearly that they don’t care if you use it, and / or actively don’t want you to use it. Perhaps they count on users using the web version which shows more ads and annoyingly continues to show the same suggestions for the wrong categories of items (try and select show me less of this category and scroll down only to see the same category repeated over and over. In a time when FB struggles to remain relevant, they continue to push out content that is broken and unfriendly to users. Sad.

The Root of all that is wrong

This platform: 1-suppresses free speech unless you’re favored by the all mighty algorithm and “fact checkers” 2-is covertly racist and biased towards one race in particular 3-suppresses differing opinions and factual information that can be proven 4-is a direct elite arm towards keeping people fighting with each other and spreading misinformation openly to those who know what’s going on. 5-is a MAJOR contributor to rewiring the brains of society as it pertains to instant gratification and narcissistic behavior. 6-is a MAJOR contributor to amplifying those who suffer with depression and anxiety for feel further inadequate 7-if there was ONE app that, if given the choice to never exist, THIS would be that app. We all conform to it and use it because it has a stronghold within the fabric of our social norms. This app has done NOTHING to better society and has quite literally destroyed a part of us that make us happy and human…see you all on this cursed app.

Facebook is pro pornography, pro harassment, pro hacking, pro spam, pro bullying, pro hate speech, pro discrimination against conservatives, pro fake news and propaganda, pro suicide, pro violence, and discriminates against groups. They pull non offensive posts and comments but don’t flag actual violations. A violation in one group is a non violation in another group of the same topic. Dumb. Toxic company. 100% censorship and garbage. This is the Democrats for you. They worship Pedo Biden and his illegitimate regime. Facebook is a cesspool of ads, spam, child and adult pornography, violence, suicide, animal abuse, and people with more than 1 account. Some have 2 or more accounts. Worst social media app. They do not care about their users. Zuckerburg is a criminal and a traitor. Facebook is a cesspool of bigotry and hate and Facebook actively encourages it.

EXPLICIT ADS!!!! STAY AWAY

This has been a problem for the past 2 weeks or so. As I’d watch the shorts on Facebook watch every now and then I would get a scam ad that shows bedroom acts in a explicit manner where let’s just say that it leaves nothing to the imagination. Every time I get one of these ads, I would report them and hide the ad provider with hopes that I wouldn’t have to seen them again. However they keep coming and it shows no signs of FB taking action against them. You would think that after repeated attempts to report a certain kind of ad that the FB algorithm would catch on but there seems to be no end. Do what you like with this info but be smart. And to facebook, fix your program and stop letting these ads float around.

Password change/reset was difficult

I had to change my password. Could not find the option on my account. Not on laptop or phone viewing. Even googled for answers or a link. Tried to use “forget password” to reset but was not given the option to. I ended up finding the option in the messenger app. Also discovered I can log out of FB but not messenger. Very funky and weird experience. Halfway through, I considered deleting my account. This was just a phone book to me anyways. Even after changing password, I am still considering it. Why is there not a clear and easy option to change passwords on the FB account like it had before? Every other social media has it. Right in settings. Advised to fix this issue immediately.

Stop with the spammy ads!! I see more ads than I do posts from my friends! You obviously don’t do any screenings of your ads before allowing them to be posted because there have been several VERY inappropriate ones show up in my feed as well as my husband’s. Since when did porn and sexual solicitation become acceptable to put in your ad? I don’t want to see it! I also keep seeing ads in languages I do not understand. Enough with the foreign chicken scratch ads! It’s harassment! Why do you let so many scammers and fake profiles harass people on marketplace? Stop with the spammy ads!!!!! Enough with the spammy ads!

Solo saben restringir a la gente que tiene un punto de pensar diferente a otros y son demasiado resentidos ahora todo les duele. Voy a eliminar esta app, solo saben querer controlar lo que decimos, mientras qué hay personas y cuentas que hacen y dicen cosas peores y no les restringen ni les eliminan sus publicaciones. Así que con esto me despido… ustedes son uña manga de hijos de su puta madre y no sirven cómo desarrolladores, por eso otras redes les están comiendo el culo… Bye que les vaya bien en su estupido socialismo y en su estupido feminismo. ¡Es lo único que saben defender!

Hacked Account

My account was hacked after almost 15 years and I have been trying for a week to contact Facebook to all e-mails provided in the Help Center without having success. It is so sad losing all my pictures. The hacker changed my e-mail, phone, password, if you don’t have access via those fb does not provide help their so called I don’t have access to these button doesn’t even work. I can’t believe a giant in social media does not have a support center where you can actually talk or even chat to somebody. I am so disappointed I will give 0 stars if possible.

Latest update ISSUES

Fix Outlook on 2023-08-18

Since the last update the app no longer reflects when you have new updates to review under home,friends, watch, marketplace and notifications. The app use to show a number in a red circle but no longer does. This is also the same issue for new messenger messages in the top right. Also watch is now full screen and is hard to watch. Was this intentional, are there new settings or is this a bug. Please let me know if a bug do you know when it will be fixed? If new settings what are those? I can share screenshots if that helps. Thank you.

um well i’m a big believer that you should get the shot if you’re vaccinated so that your body doesn’t have the antibodies and the vaccine is safe to take so that your immunity can go away from your immune systems so you don’t get it again so that your brain doesn’t get it and then it will go back on its normal cycle and you will get the vaccine and you can still have the vaccine again and you will be fine again but if you’re vaccinated then you’re going back on your body won’t work so it’s a bit more effective than it was a long term
