But sometimes the discount game gets a bit much.
For instance I made a large purchase over a 100$. And I was supposed to get 30 $ off.
But it didn’t happen….
I was supposed to text or call the next day. That was over 5 weeks ago.
I attempted the online texting and I wasn’t getting a response.
And then life happens and I forget.
I bought something’s just because I new I was getting 30$ off. And I’m still 😏frustrated about it.
Target may not have the cheapest price but you have unique items. So when I order the few unique and I want to order everything I need at increased prices…. I’m OK with that because of all the discounts that I expected to receive.
Unfortunately I have been attempting this a and I never seem to win to discount. But don’t get me wrong I do thankfully find a few that work. Just not the big discounts.
So while I’m in Virginia for business I was at a Target earlier this week and I was having a hard time trying to receive another 25$ discount for over a hundred again in person. And then I forgot to use my gift card. So the associate kindly deleted that transaction and when we started the ne transaction I wasn’t able to access the discount. So she also kindly discounted all items to make up for it. What a wonderful associate/cashier. Smart lady.
And then the manager unknown to me saw this happening and gave me a gift card as I was leaving. And apologized for the mishap.
So the discount game is a bit much. But your human interaction to resolve these issues have impressed me. Thank You Target.

Third Party Sellers Ruining It

Target itself is great but now but so many items are third party sellers- and target has completely different policies for items bought from them, it’s ruining it. Now I have to make sure every time I like or buy something that it’s really from target not some random other seller because they’ll send you a damaged product and they refuse to replace it, only a return- but then they only give you ups or fedex label- but wont schedule any pick-up. If I do it myself, they charge me a fee. So they offer a useless label, since nobody is going to come get it. Usps comes every day to pick up and drop mail but they won’t give you a usps label. It’s like they want you to be unable to return the damaged trash they send so they can keep your money. They told me there was NO WAY they could bypass this and either send a usps label, schedule a ups or fedex pick up, or refund it since I sent many photos showing the item was no good. They said it was not possible. I told him I want to talk to someone less useless and that he shouldn’t be in customer service if he had no intention of helping customers reach a reasonable resolution. Suddenly he was able to refund it. Amazing… liars.
Out of Order

The app is showing that everything in the fridge, frozen, fruit and vegetable departments are out of stock. As a busy Mother of three that works in healthcare, it makes it very inconvenient to try and do a pick up order when nothing is “in stock”. Also, I have been noticing during other times, when I place items in the cart, they get transferred to the “save for later” section because that item is out of stock. I then head to the store to buy what I can, or what is available, and see that those items are in abundance on the shelf. I’m not a lazy person, I don’t mind shopping in the store. I However, I travel around the county at different healthcare facilities and I try to not go into stores when I’m in my scrubs to cut down on the amount of germs. It also helps when it’s convenient to grab something for pick up when dinner is last minute. Please look into these issues. I can’t be the only one this is happening to.

Inaccurate Stock
Poor Inventory System on 2023-08-18
Went on Target app to purcase storage bins. Three stores near me said they had a stock of 6 or more items in store. Went to first store and they had zero. Went online to order from next store which app and in store associate told me there were 10 in stock. Got notification from app say there were none in store so switched to next store to pick up which just got notification that only one was in store and my order had been cancelled. I have now tried ordering from Target further away that said they had them in stock. Quickly losing faith in Target and it ability to provide for its customers. Amazon and WalMart are looking better day after day!
Don’t trust Hey, Bullseye product reviews.

I bought a lamp from Target. There were a million things wrong with it so I went to write a review. The product’s rating page had a lot of five stars reviews, but when I looked closer, all of the five star glowing reviews were from Hey, Bullseye users, and most of the rest were four or below. Curious, I looked it up and turns out Hey, Bullseye lets Target handpick people to receive products for FREE in exchange for an “honest” review. How are they selected? By looking at their past reviews and interactions on Target’s app and website. Hmmmmm. I’m not a rocket scientist but something smells funky.
Very weird Flaw

I didn’t have this probably before I moved but when I try to change my store to my current store, it randomly switched the location to Wisconsin, and now Tennessee?? I’ve never heard of the towns that are listed and have never even been to them?? No matter how hard I try it won’t stay at the only store that I go to… I cant find accurate items that are in stock or what aisle they’re even in, which I need because I have major social anxiety and can’t just ask someone, especially the town I live in it’s not very safe to do that. Please please fix this this very important.
App Changes Store Location

The app keeps changing the store location to one I used once a while ago, even though it’s located states away. (Center of the country vs. the coast) I kept changing it, but it keeps going back.) I used my circle savings on an order and didn’t realize that it switched the store. Now the store has hung up on me all three times I have called to get the order cancelled because I won’t be picking it up/can’t. The app fails and has a problem every time I tried to cancel it in the app. I tried a ridiculous amount of times.
Don’t try with VPN

Basically the title. I got a vpn today and just tried to use the target app and website and it wouldn’t work. Looked it up and sure enough, Target blocks vpns or something like that? Honestly that’s inconsiderate, make your customers compromise their safety just to use your app and website? Wow. This was a great app but I guess I’m not using it anymore because I’m not disabling a VPN every time I want to see if target has what I want. What a shame.

Sustainability claims are back in the search filter. Not a perfect app, but still a better shopping experience than Amazon or Walmart.

The search filter no longer has the option of sustainability claims. I only buy cruelty-free beauty products, so I always filter as such. Annoying and time consuming when we need to try new product and have to weed out the a**h****s of corporate America. Hoping this is just an oversight on the developer’s end.

I only shop here out of convenience and ease with the app/pickup when I have to because I’m a busy parent. Sad that Target is being so swayed by the disgusting agenda in our country currently. Protect our children. Be proud to be an American company. Stop following suit for feelings and good grief stop making your employees wear their pronouns no one cares if they are male or female or whatever. They are humans!
