Wrong item and denied a refund

Hi, my name is ……. and I am sending this review because I have received the wrong part for my computer on Amazon and I have lost almost all hope. I was in contact with customer service many times throughout this process and even sent an appeal to the Account Specialist Team. I have been told countless times that I can’t receive a refund if I don't send in the correct item, though I was sent the wrong item. I was on the call with a representative when I first got the Amazon package and they told me to send the wrong item back so I did. Throughout these days of trying to convince that I'm not trying to scam Amazon but simply get the time to read my appeal and look into this incident as all of the facts are in the first call, I had with Britney the representative. I followed what she said and returned the wrong item but a supervisor from customer service told me that Britney put the wrong item in as a defective item or used item. In this case, when I sent back the part that I got, I was informed that I could not receive a refund as I needed to send the correct item. Then I appeal and they say the exact same thing as before. I spent a couple of hours writing step by step about everything that happened in the 2 weeks that this all happened for my appeal. I have pictures of every receipt of my PC build that in total cost $4,300. I work hard for my money and so does my family. We have been using Amazon for several years now and have spent thousands of dollars using Amazon and are all Prime members. I am an honest young man, and I am currently in college. I have no reason to lie or deceive anyone. I just want this to be investigated so the truth can be found and you can continue to have a loyal happy customer like myself. If I could clear all of this up I would even take a lie detector test. I hope this falls in the hands of someone that can help and I would be truly grateful if this could be resolved after all of the facts are opened. I will send my appeal in this message as well as pictures of all payments made to build my PC and pictures I took of the package when I opened it. So now I’m out 700 dollars and have nothing to show for it, it really shows you how much Amazon cares about their customers. I handled the situation exactly how they told be to and yet they still tell me that I can’t receive a refund. Honestly ridiculous how they can just take my money and there is nothing I can do about it and no one can help me nor look into it. If they took the time to look into it like I have been pleading they would see that I did not receive the correct item.
Amazon holding hostage of my account

Amazon locked me out of my account for using gift cards. A gift card that I bought through their Amazon Cash program at the nearest location to my home. This was on prime day for prime day. I ended up only spending barely half of it because Amazon decided to lock me out after the third purchase I did with the gift card balance. Just a month after prime day. Not only did they hijack my account, they are holding by balance too. I paid for that full amount. I should be able to spend that amount of the balance throughout Amazon without a problem. Apparently it was a problem. Now my account is inaccessible and I’m left wondering what will happen to my account and its balance. They want government verification, but it doesn’t matter even if I provide them the information. They accused me of money laundering and that they couldn’t prove where the cash came from. It’s my money. I go to work for that money just like everyone else works for theirs. The fact that I need to prove the origin of my cash is intrusive of a customers privacy or plain simple, profiling. What if my grandma gave me that gift card? Now she has to be involved. She didn’t buy it, I did, but what if that was the case. How would I prove to them my grandma paid it with legit cash. Makes no sense, I have a receipt from the store I purchased my gift card. It wasn’t even a purchase, I gave them $300 to add to my Amazon balance. They should’ve verified the money at that point if they’re so suspicious of the money. They shouldn’t even allow you to deposit that much money if it’s a problem in the first place. Because now I’m locked out of my account with a remaining balance of $195. That’s not a $5 gift card to just brush off and my account is a decade old. What about the emotional damage of losing a 10 year old account or not being able to know what’s going on with it. Amazon is a horrible company and they are thieves
Pointless

My biggest complaint about this app is how it assaults my phone. No exaggeration, browsing the Amazon app can completely drain my phone’s battery in 25 minutes, and it has overheated it to the point of shutting down more than once. Isn’t the entire point of an app (as opposed to visiting a website) supposed to be it’s less taxing on our phones? What’s the point of an app that offers nothing beyond what I can already do on your website? In the past, the only benefit I found to having the app is that I received notifications whenever there was a price change on any item in my watch list. I uninstalled the app due to phone memory limitations. Now that I have a new phone, I reinstalled the app only to discover that feature is no longer available. That cost me the opportunity to make a purchase I was looking forward to. Now, it seems the app is a waste of space on my phone. My other company is less about the app and more how Amazon sets up product listings: First, I add a product to my watch list. On several occasions, I’ve seen the image attached to that product change, representing something else. In those instances, I’ve refused to make the purchase because I no longer know what I’ll be getting. Second, why are reviews for different products lumped together. You want a review for the latest 4K release of a film? They’ll be mixed up with reviews fo the Blu-ray and DVD releases of that same film despite being three distinct products. Want to read reviews about a TV or storage shed you’re interested in? Good luck narrowing down reviews specific to that size TV or shed when there are multiple sizes offered.
Home Page TOO BUSY

August 2023: the home page is now nothing less than a visual and sensory train wreck. The ‘Browsing Interest’ page cannot be reset (mine is set on CATS). More annoying is the INSPIRE page - there’s no mute setting. —————————— March 2022: After 60 minutes trying to get an answer on a simple question, the outcome was telling me to wait 48 hours. I’ve followed up on this since the March 12th. After three challenges asking for details, you’re transferred to another, then another before being told the matter was logged with the “Concernedsn team” and would be “resolved within 24-48 hours”. Best recommendation I can give is ASK FOR A TRANSCRIPT OF THE CHAT. You’ll get push back but they can send it and tell them you’ll confirm receipt before closing the chat. The support model here is continue to tell the User wait 48 hours - until Users give up out of frustration. BTW, My question was - why must I reset BROWSING HISTORY to OFF every time I log in?

Fake reviews, fake products, they banned me for too many bad reviews (as they are doing this to everyone now - ever wonder why it will show thousands of reviews and you click and there is only 3 reviews? Yeah, they been cleaning house). You get nothing but the results you don’t want to see, and if they do get the right kind of item, you’re avalanches with Chinese garbage - and let me just state candidly here, it is absolute worse than dollar tree trash. Every time you order from Amazon, you’re already prepared to be disappointed when the packages arrive. Oh yeah - fake 2 day delivery too. That hasn’t happened in years. And one more thing, prime gets you a bunch of junk you’ll never use. Did you know you get free shipping at $35 without prime? When was the last time you bought something under $35 total? Never? So why pay for prime?
They toke 69$ without me knowing

So when my sister checked my moms account and she saw Amazon toke 69$ on my Amazon account. At first I was confused but I found out that the app has prime which I was not aware of. If you search up something on the app on the top you will see a button which says prime and it has in on and off button. And once you click it you will be charged 15$ EVERY month. Amazon did not send me any notifications texts or calls saying “ You are going to be charged 15$ on July28th” they said nothing too me so I would be aware that my money was gonna be charged. Amazon do better because now you will be losing an customer! You were my favorite store to shop and now your slowly are not. Pls be aware of what you are clicking because theses stores are getting clever each and everyday. Hope y’all enjoy that 69$ of mine😡
Not worth the shopping

I have been an Amazon customer for about two years now and with that we have ordered several things ranging from evaporated air conditioners to bed frames, simple stuff such as household supplies I thought for the longest time it was cheaper to get it off of Amazon them to go to the grocery store but I found out the hard way. Not only do they not take the money off your card when you order it but they wait until you ship it then in return causes you to have a overdraft. These guys have costed me and my husband over 300 and overdraft fees for more bank and then this year we decided to school supply shop on Amazon for Our Son and they did not deliver their packages on time and put it off a week late. I would seriously recommend not shopping on here anymore. It’s a gimmick.

Amazon used to be great! Now they are allowing 3rd party companies that don’t really exist to sell things on Amazon. If you buy and it’s defective, no refund for you. You have to reach out to the 3rd party - who doesn’t really exists. Their Amazon account has an invalid phone number and their email address provided, no one returns emails. The greed in Amazon is killing the business and turning Amazon into Ali Exp, Wish and Temu!!! Good business plan. Prims is the only thing keeping them alive. And I’m not renewing! I now buy everything from Target! Much much much better customer service and all the good products, none of the small lil China businesses that aren’t in existence. Bye bye Amazon.

I don’t see a setting to choose HUB LOCKER LEVEL I already spoke to customer service locker section and the agent said it is changed to high level, yet on this app I STILL SEE (lower locker) why? 🔊PRIME MEMBERSHIP I was able to write reviews on items I purchased until recently NO EXPLANATION GIVEN AND I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE 3 weeks ago and no one called to RESOLVE MY CONCERNS! 📣Counter Locker I tried both DELIVERY AND PICKUP, delivery I don’t like when the BUSINESS OWNER or staff signs my name or initials like I personally picked it up. Pickup the address label had the NAME OF BUSINESS INSTEAD OF MY NAME CAUSED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS FOR MY ITEMS TO BE OPEN BY OWNER OR EMPLOYEE’S.

It has come to my attention that the phrase "from $x.xx" apparently denotes the ability to display the price of the least expensive version of a product, while featuring an image and title of the desired variant. For instance, when I searched for the Lian Li 360mm AIO on Amazon, the primary item was labeled as a 360mm AIO priced at $119.99. However, upon clicking on it, the cost escalated to $169.99. Upon closer examination, it was evident that the price of the 240mm AIO had been employed for promotional purposes, misleadingly enticing customers towards the 360mm AIO. Despite my efforts to communicate this concern to customer service, no corrective action was taken.
