Spotify Rips You Off
Gkster on 2023-08-18
Despite the number of premium listeners increasing, Premium costs more now! Judging by a few google searches, it's unsurprising to me that the CEO of spotify earned $38 million in 2021 and apparently fumbled investments more in 2022 before recovering. Do any spotify employees (not executives) actually make any more money from the extra up charge on premium? Are there actually any better features from this upcharge in service? Are you paying artists fairly? Doubtful. Also, changing the <3 feature on liked songs to a plus sign is such an annoying feature.
Stop trying to be something other than a music streaming service

I beg of you Spotify, to please stop attempting to enter the short form content game and tik-tokification of branding your playlists. It’s sickening and shallow and makes me hate your app. I come to Spotify for music, not to feel like I’m on yet another social media app. It’s over stimulating and excessive. I want my music in peace, not to be blasted with more gifs and videos and recommendations of artists I’ve already selected “no interested” to. Please do better, and stop trying to enter a space that isn’t what people want.
You guys ruined it..
So I deleted the app on 2023-08-18
I wanted to listen to music but when I tapped the play button it played a song I didn’t like or know. And when I wanted to listen to my playlist it was adding songs I didn’t even add to my playlist and I wasn’t even done with all the songs in the playlist so when I tried to scroll through the songs Spotify added just to get to the songs that I added it wouldn’t let me because I add to pay.. So I deleted the app I can’t listen to music anymore

Why did I spend half-hour indicating my favorite 40-50 artists if there’s no algorithm to play their music? Just same ol’, same ol’ Yacht Rock, Billy Joel, 70’s etc…. Very disappointing. I guess I didn’t miss much only joining Spotify this last week at age 56. I contain multitudes. Johnny Cash, Israel Vibration, Bee Gees, Leonard Cohen, Peter Tosh, U2 and Jackson Browne. They didn’t even list Bee Gees or Warren Zevon. Lamestream
Sonos 1 and Spotify
Prs174 on 2023-08-18
After this Spotify update, I can no longer use the Sonos 1 app and its Search function to find artists on Spotify. I have to go to the Spotify app, search for the artist, and then connect my Sonos speakers to the Spotify app. It works, but, it’s a much clunkier method than when a “ Sonos search” would directly bring up the artist on Spotify. This issue started today after I did the app update for Spotify. Disappointed
how i feel

spotify is great and all, but i absolutely DESPISE the fact that people who don’t have premium basically can’t use the app. i get anywhere from 1-7 15 second long ads in between each song and i never get the 30 minutes of ad free listening they promise. it is also ridiculous that i can’t even see the songs on an album and that spotify adds songs to my playlist that i don’t want. like, just say you hate poor people.
A Beautiful Creatoon

I’ve been recently appealed to using Spotify for academic concentration and personal enjoyment. The wide ranged variety of music collections are extraordinary, ranging from all genres of music and creates satisfaction in the difference of musical preferences. The system and mechanics of the app are above all words efficient and very accessible. Such a creation should we valued to its fullest capabilities.
Relatable and Helpful

The podcast is relatable and helpful as the hosts talk about parenting in an open honest way that invites you into community instead of hiding in regret. They share failures and successes with the audience and allows the listener room to consider what it means to them and their family. You’ll find passionate parents who don’t take themselves too seriously leading these life giving conversations.
Gone downhill fast
homedoy on 2023-08-18
The UI is atrocious. Lyrics look terrible. The heart used to like songs is just gone and replaced with a playlist icon. I regularly get recommended popular and mainstream music which I never listen to. Spotify used to feel like my little music assistant, giving me good suggestions that fit my taste. Now it feels like a corporate machine trying to push genres and concepts down my throat.
