Messenger I have been using it for years. It’s good for texting 💬, calling, and video chat. Sending photos and videos. Voice clips if you don’t feel like typing. I would like add some suggestions though. I feel the app needs more themes to make it more fun and exciting for people to use. Like a theme that allows people to set a photo of the background that they choose of. Like for example a picture of me and my boyfriend. If people don’t like photos they should be able to customize the app the way they like it. Like the keyboard and the whole theme of the chat of the person their talking with. I feel the app is getting boring and that’s why less people aren’t using it much. It would also be cool if you added a feature for people who do long distance. People like to watch movies together and I think it be cool if I could open Netflix or other entertainment apps in the messenger app too watch a movie with my boyfriend or even a friend or sibling. The future of technology is advancing and people want new ways to communicate and better ways to connect. A lot times people can’t be with each other so I feel this could make it better way connect with others and still do the things you usually do in person like watching a movie together but now over the phone when long distance from someone. New fonts and text styles would be cool. Please also add more fun games for people to play and interact with. Lastly please update your stickers.

The issue here has to be connected to the most recent update, given the timeline in which it started. Notifications for this app just…stopped. (I’m not in any kind of sleep or Do Not Disturb mode, and I’ve double-checked my settings to make sure nothing got changed inadvertently.) If I deliberately bring up the app, I can see the new messages marked unread, and I get real-time notifications if I *happen* to have the app open/active when it comes through. Otherwise, I’ve gone legit days without realizing I had unread messages because the app decided not to tell me anymore. Otherwise the app seems to be functioning the same as always, so that’s something. I’ll continue to use it since this is the established method of communication for my friend group, but this is a pretty problematic bug for an app whose one job is to facilitate communication.

Messenger works great, assuming so that’s why it’s used by millions of people. But each time I post a listing on marketplace I receive around 10 spam messages per item I post. Lots of times it the same person inquiring about multiple posts. That’s very frustrating and I wish that could be fixed or managed a little better. Also, I wish there was an easy way to select and delete multiple conversations from messengers marketplace tab. I recently uploaded 3 different listings and after I sold them I have around 30-40 spam messages that I would prefer to delete by using a “select all” button but instead I have to go in a do them each individually which took me at least an hour. Please fix this!

I love messenger, I call my bestie on it ALL the time. It works great over all, but one thing that annoys us both, is the filters. The filters are crappy and half of them are unnecessary. There is only 1 amazing filter. Messenger, PLEASE add the search bar back to the filters. I beg of you lol or just add some actual good filters! Like this app is amazing but it could be even better! So messenger, if you see this, please add the search bar button back to the filters, or make the filters better/necessary. But I totally recommend this app, awesome quality 👏 Thank you very much!!
