Needs a lot of work

This is a great idea, in concept. However, the implementation is severely lacking. The minute you are in multiple classes or have multiple children, it’s just noise. There’s no effort made on the part of the developer to organize such a mess or collate classes by child. Support gives the standard “always looking for new features” line… like this hasn’t come up before. If I could use something else, I wouldn’t think twice. Just read the release notes if you don’t believe me… “We’re hard at work on speed and performance.” 😒😒😒

No option to delete old conversations

I like this app for keeping up with conversations related to my kids’ classrooms, but all of my kids are young and I have messages going all the way back to 2021. With three kids in school, there are a LOT of old messages. I have looked online extensively, and there is no way for parents to delete or archive past messages. It’s very annoying to go into the app and see all of these old messages from teachers I’ll never interact with again. It would be nice if Remind would fix this issue for parents.

character limit needs to change

i love using remind but the character limit prevents me from using everything i have to announce to my group. i have to use my notes app to write everything down and its kinda tiring so if the character limit could at least be less than what it is now or be removed it would be an even better app for me and others as well

I like using remind for my school functions but every time I send out an announcement it always has a small character limit and it would be great if that just did not exist. Because then we have to use another app to write it down, screenshot it, then add it as a photo and it just makes it a long process.

As an end user your app must facilitate us to delete those posts which are not of any interest to us or those we don’t want to follow up. This feature allows us flexibility to maintain the flow of content/post posted by the host/admin.

No Apple Watch support?

Part of the reason I don’t bother with the app but use their SMS system is bc they don’t support Apple Watch. If you have unlimited texting, this is the best option if you want to read/respond to msgs, especially on campus.

Office Hours

If someone sets office hours, Remind should not allow any message to go through unless it’s during the office hours. There’s no point in setting the times because messages get sent no matter the time.

Easy to use

Remind is super easy to use and you can attach items for families to view. However, I just wish the amount of characters in a message was extended for teachers.

I’ve been using this since 2017 and why why why can’t we delete a conversation? The app works but I have to block people every year to stop getting messages.
