Excessive ads

No one minds adverts, that how you guys make your money; but do you have to have back to back 30 second to 2 minute long adverts every 6-10 mins on EVERY video? And then we get the grand 45 minute advert/program every now and again! Also since the latest update my personal playlist background is white, and the playlist names are a very light grey colour; barely legible. I uninstalled and reinstalled (twice) to see if that would sort it out… it didn’t. And why are there so many recommendations of channels I don’t watch and have never searched for? I thought this godly “algorithm” based recommendations on things that are linked to our own search history; so why am I being show cryptocurrency, “alpha male”, conspiracy theories, right wing media etc? Do this channel pay you for their channels to be top priority? I’ll be keeping my review at 1 star for the foreseeable future, as I know that nothing will change.

Why I believe you need to be worried about children accessing this platform.

Hello dear reviewers, I need to express my concerns for the app known as YouTube. Many children use this app. YouTube is not only controlled by a company that makes an app with the word ‘Kids’ in the name unfriendly and display content for a much more mature audience but it lets people get away with posting GARBAGE. There is a new trend known as ‘Skibidi Toilet’ this trend includes disturbing content of a war between men in toilets and ‘Camera people’ Aka people with cameras for heads. Young children are being shown this disturbing content that should only be for older audiences. This displays violence and therefore encourages this to young impressionable children. If you have children under the age of 11 please be mindful of what they watch. I encourage you to BAN ‘Skibidi toilet’ from your house.

This app is one of the most pathetic apps ever thought of YouTubers shouting at the screen over and over again, just because I have a YouTube channel. I don’t do that I do videos like children but I don’t shout up screen but there was no there’s so many Bloomin pathetic. I hate this I hate ads. Why can’t you sum up one day with us just remove them at the services and annoying so if you ever download YouTube, that’s just say you’ve just wasted some of your time waiting for it to download is just annoying piece of rubbish coding full of people making videos of them is shouting at the screen being horrible. I’m just doing nothing but we still are you being a YouTuber the job, but I don’t think it’s a job. I think it’s just a pathetic li I don’t get money

You keep asking and wanting a review so here ya go I love the content creators videos what I hate is YouTube itself the ad’s after ad’s after ad’s after ad’s you really do not need that many adverts in one video it’s a joke takes 45 mins to watch a 30min video because of all the adverts we have to watch like you pause a video as soon as you push play again an ad comes up then straight after you can skip it another one pops up you never had ad’s all those years ago you don’t need ad’s now I can bet not one person who watches YouTube have ever found an ad interesting or signed up to anything from seeing an ad you put up they are worthless and pointless waste of our time!! and now I can’t even skip an add using the ! In a circle ⭕️

YouTube is the best app ever, you can watch anything, you can like a video if you like it and dislike it if you don’t like it. If you like someone your watching, you can subscribe to the and you can see how many subscribers they have if you go on there profile, you can also see when they started and how many views there videos have got all together! You can search for a video, if you think the video is inappropriate or something, you can report if, you can also turn on captions if you can’t hear the video. Some people livestream which means they are live. You can do so many things on YouTube! And that’s why YouTube my favourite app!

So I’m am NOT pleased with this update, my cousin is being rude to me and trash talking about me EVERY TIME SHES ON YOUTUBE SHORTS!!!!! I understand it’s addictive, she admits it her self, but this has ruined a lot of children and outdoing all the parents work.I would also like to talk about what’s on the shorts. It was a nice relaxing afternoon untill I look at her iPad,she’s watching these people doing very bad stuff. She says,”it just comes up it’s not me now go away.” PLEASE YOUTUBE LISTEN TO YOUR REPORTS, it’s NOT FAIR that parents have to go through this. Far too many ads and no community feature on iPad

10 min videos no have up to 4 ads in them which make the unwatchable some even have bubble ads classic as one the hole this is ridiculous. Although supported on all other platforms the community tab is unavailable for iPad making it had to keep up the channels and if they are running an event or plan to live stream Overall YouTube its self is ok but this app is just becoming more and more anti-consumer and anti content creator with each passing update. App closes video every time i lock the ipad and re open the app

Re focus to another content

Previously when switching between apps, the watched content remained as set before. Now YouTube not only changing over unnecessary refresh , but also making hard to find what actually user is interesting to find. I have subscriptions on YouTube , but I think I will stop using it at all. I do not like theirs new algorithms, I strongly believe they are useless unnecessary which lower down amount of people who watching. If that will not change I will stop using and subscribing youtube at all….

Minor things that are really irritating

1. YouTube shorts opening as soon as I open the app. I’m open the app because I want to use YouTube not TikTok 2. The swipe left to go back function is too easily done by accident. I’m searching and scrolling down for something and all of a sudden I’m back on the homepage and have to start the search all over again 3. “Previously watched videos” or other completely irrelevant videos appearing in a search after a minute of scrolling. Fix your algorithm? Thanks 😊

please add continue watching feature

Please add a continue watching section for playlists where you can play the next video from where you left off within playlist the last time. This would be great for both music and content It’s a bit long going on a channel finding the right playlist and scrolling forever to see which video the red watched lines are upto Itd be so much more convenient to be able to continue watching any playlist right on the video you left off straight from the home feed Thanks!
