I believe Zoom is illegally replicating the likeness and intellectual property of users who have not accepted its terms of service. For example, if a large company pre-installs Zoom on its employees' computers, Zoom is illegally replicating the likeness of those employees without their consent. This is because the employees have not had the opportunity to read and accept Zoom's terms of service, which include a provision allowing Zoom to replicate users' likeness. The same is true for clients or third party members who participate in Zoom meetings. I have also included the following legal citations to support this claim: California Civil Code Section 3344: This law prohibits the unauthorized use of a person's likeness for commercial purposes. Federal Copyright Act: This law protects original works of authorship, including photographs and videos. I will be reporting this matter to the United States government. I believe that Zoom's actions are in violation of both California law and federal law. I urge the government to take action to stop Zoom from illegally replicating users' likeness and intellectual property. The company has recently updated its terms of service to allow them to steal the content of your calls and train their own AI with your data. This is illegal data collection under the guise of terms and conditions legalese. I urge you to opt out of Zoom and delete the app from your devices immediately. Your privacy and security are at risk. Do not use Zoom for any business-related calls. If you have already used Zoom for business calls, I recommend that you contact your clients and inform them that their data may have been compromised. You should also take steps to protect your own data, such as changing your passwords and enabling two-factor authentication. Zoom is a popular video conferencing platform, but it is no longer safe to use. Please heed my warning and opt out of Zoom today.

Before you agree to using Zoom PLEASE review the terms that I will provide below. Myself and many others have deleted this app and switched to other platforms that do not have INVASIVE policies in place. Read for yourself 10.3 Permitted Use; Customer Content. Zoom has continuously tried to charge me over $39,000 on my credit card! I had to cut up the card and throw it out and have the bank reissue another with a new number. Yet Zoom continues to try to charge me! They claim they cannot see what is going on because I dont have the information of the credit card which I cut up and threw away, hence not remembering the number, exp date, etc. If Zoom had been trying to ram through some more reasonable fraudulent charge like $1000, it would have worked. I would highly recommend everyone with Zoom accounts that doesnt want to switch to Google or something, watch your credit card bills like a hawk for fraudulent Zoom charges. What a scam.

Just bringing up the terms of service. Don’t let this greedy company redistribute, publish, access, use, store, transmit, review, disclose, preserve, extract, modify, reproduce, share, use, display, copy, DISTRIBUTE, TRANSLATE, TRANSCRIBE, CREATE DERIVATIVE WORKS, and PROCESS YOUR CONTENT as a customer. What an deceitful thing to do since they no that a minuscule percentage of their users will ready their terms of service. Protect yourself and likeness!

Additionally, under section 10.4 of the updated terms, Zoom has secured a "perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license" to redistribute publish, access, use, store, transmit, review, disclose, preserve, extract, modify, reproduce, share, use, display; copy, distribute, translate, transcribe. create derivative works, and process Customer Content. Gonna need everyone to steer clear of this app….

It’s WAY too hard to try to log into another device with your account. My mom and I tried for 30 minutes to log into my iPad, and it told us we needed a verification code. I am FURIOUS. It’s disappointing though, because it’s such a GREAT place to have a profesional meeting, or even just to have a meeting with your friends! I know that it was just for security, but it shouldn’t take this long to log on.
